Ian Dixie

Ian is a qualified and experienced Person-Centred counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP. He is also an accredited member of the Professional Standards Authority.

Before studying for his professional qualifications in counselling Ian worked in business in the Logistics Industry for over 30 years and gained substantial experience in operations and performance analysis and reporting, the last decacde at Senior Management Level at Royal Mail. Noticing an increasing trend of stress related health issues within the industry , Ian enbarked on a major career change and returned to being a student.

Ian offers both short and longer term counselling in a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment.

Ian says – ‘I believe passionately in the transformational power of personal counselling, having experienced it in my own life journey. I understand how important it is to find a space where you can talk and be listened to, without fear of judgement and in the certainty of confidentiality.’
